Our TF2 server has undergone a major overhaul, with map voting now properly enabled, a ton of custom maps added, and Hlstatsx enabled. Please post any issues you are having on our forums and we’ll try to have them sorted as soon as possible.
If only to brighten up the frontpage with another video, here’s the latest installment from Valve introducing all the classes, this time Meet the Sniper
Friendly match to be played on Thursday 5th June at 19:30.
There will be a couple of restrictions on classes, but on the whole the plan is just to have a really big match 12 V 12 is what we’re hoping for atm and with the rats involved places could be scarce, so all interested book your place on the forums asap.
Last week wasn’t organised the best, and didn’t work out at all, but we’ll make one final attempt at getting the TF2 team idea off the ground.
The date for the game will be Thursday 22nd May, and we’ll try and start it at 8pm. Anyone who’s interested try and be on Steam at 7-30pm though, as it’ll help with starting on time.
Anyone interested in getting together a joint XDC and Rat TF2 team, try and be on steam tomorrow night from about 7:30pm. We’ll be trying to organise some sort of game, whether amongst ourselves, or against a friendly clan, but either way we really need to gauge whether there is enough interest in putting the team together at all.
The new TS server’s been up and running a few weeks now but it seems now we’ll have to start using it as the old one is no longer responding. To join the new server connect to 193.93.45.47:8767 and remember to log on as anonymous until you get the chance to register with the server. Also at present it has no password protection, though we’ll probably change that in the near future.
so at some point (probably when I get back off hols) I will need to try again
