Anyone got it?

Personally, I now officially could not live without it. Anyone want to recommend some tunes? I'll give anything a listen, but can't promise not to be scathingly honest about how I find it.. :mrgreen:

Post some links below.

Some playlists of mine..

Chilled.. don't let the opening track put you off.
http://open.spotify.com/user/istreff/pl ... HrOgGnnXTr

"Times" .. i literally just stuck the word "Times" in the search bar, and added some tracks. Turns out it's a good way to make a playlist..

"Something Man" .. same as above, but with the word "Man"

Lets see if this takes off or dies on it's arse then.. how many people actually use spotify?
:mrgreen:

Have to say Streff, you got me into spotify. I use it often when I'm doing other stuff on my pc than playing games or watching porn. I doubt however you or anyone here would appriciate my playlists so I will leave it here, but yeah

Spotify= the awesome

I had it on my iphone, but was frustrated that I couldnt listen to music and do other stuff (multitasking), however, this has now been made possible with the lates update, so may well have another go.

I have been a fan from the start - but there are way to many adverts now :( Don't listen enough to justify the paid version.

I think that on average I listen to it about 8 - 14 hours a day... and now i've got it running at work, even better :)

I agree Doc, the number of adverts does seem to be increasing, but I get used to it.. no more ads than radio, and the music is better. There are however, still far too many holes in the available artists though, no Floyd for example, missing odd albums off other people (Till the Sun turns black - Ray Lamontagne. Got Trouble & Gossip in the Grain tho?)

Stalker - stick up a playlist, give us all a laugh ;) But really though, I liked the Blackening.. what else you got?

Fuck me, I've used spotify on and off since I heard about it on the bbc website last year, but I'm only now starting to appreciate how good it is now. Streff gave me a good tip in work where you pick a keyword, like "man", as an example he gave, and from that you'll find a lot of shit, but if you skip the ones you don't like you'll eventually find some bands you've never heard of playing something you do like. From there you can search for more of their stuff, but also see which other bands spotify reckons are like them. Before long you've built up quite a good playlist consisting of bands you'd never have heard otherwise. I'm pretty casual when it comes to keeping up with music, so it may not be as good for music geeks out there, but it's doing a great job broadening my musical knowledge.
