Erratic-Space is wanting back in the fold and I’m not inclined to let him because of a promise he broke with me. Any objections?

I’ve avoided this thread after writing it because really I don’t want to go into it, at least in public, but thanks alcohol anyway….. I can’t trust the guy because of a promise he made to me before I moved back to Scotland, and probably more because of what he did right after that. I gave him a lot of rope at the time though, and while I recall him strangling himself with it a lot, I haven’t spoken to him in a few years now so it’s possible things have changed. If he’s been on TS, as Ben says, I’ll have a word, but if I get any sort of old vibe I may kick off. The other night I revoked his access to this forum but if I change my mind I’ll be up front about this post and leave it here, so there may be some fireworks.
I’m not fussed one way or the other. I’ve seen him about TS but not actually spoken to him.
That surprised me.

That is not a redeeming feature, but I’m not going to kick off about it and, as I said, I’ll judge the current version rather than my memory of it.

Christ if I can put up with actual kids on team speak like kizz/mikey etc damn sure I can put up with a mid 30s kid as well 😀 also, refraining from BF1 will likely limit my interaction with him anyway.
No to Erratic_space, I also can’t put up with Kizz or MikeySpud but they’re in now so I guess I have no choice.

In short, some younger members we picked up when playing Planetside 2.
They are in late teens, early 20s and have a tendency to act like kids sometimes. When they initially joined, they could be good fun and injected some new blood into XDC. They can be annoying which is a downside.
The above comment stems from how flat our rude they were to Paddy yesterday. Paddy and Kizz/Mikey have had disagreements in the past which I think is fair to say has left a mutual dislike of each other. Paddy joined the channel and although we like to to take the piss out of each other, they were far too rude to Paddy to be considered a laugh.
I did speak to Kizz at length last night and he started saying “oh paddy said this, paddy said that” but no matter what paddy did or didn’t say, there was no need to act like that. He was going to apologize but mentioned Paddy had deleted him off various platforms.
As much as I hate internet drama, and if Paddy, as the person who bore the front of it wants to, it may be worth discussing in a thread.
