It was a little odd tonight, in the two weeks i’ve been playing COD4 i’ve only suffered connection problems twice ever, tonight included, and ive got a feeling the first time was on the XDC server also. I must say great games tonight but the server fannyied about for a few minutes during Bloc for me.

Tbh i’m impressed by the netcode, although i seemed to loose touch with the server for 5+ seconds i was not booted……i just saw a comical reverseing of my actions, oh and Turks killed me, c**t.

Im looking for a film that the gf loved but dosn’t know the name, hopefully you fine gents and ladies might recognise it.
    Synopsis….from what she can remember….

A writer is suffering writers block and starts to recieve letters outlining a story, he uses these letters as insperation to write a novel, over the months they fuck with his head a tad but he keeps writing. It transpires the letters are being sent by a convicted murderer and depict real life events.

The name of the film may contain…The Devil **something**, it’s definetly not The Devils Advocate as she was sure it was, i bought that today for her and well its not 🙄

Googled and imbd Devil films but no joy, any ideas?

just a pity i can’t bind the keys i want; being a south paw i like to use my arrow keys for direction and the numerical keyboard for other functions but they don’t seem to work and neither does pressing the mouse wheel down for prone or scrolling through weapons with the wheel 🙁

You may have already figured this out by now…..I installed Cod4 today and had the same issue until i pressed the Num Lock key (toggles keypad mode,) it now worked for me. I cant stand a wasd setup…its for UT poofs 😀

Ive got my mouse wheel selecting between primary gun & hand cannon but its a bitch to remember flash/frag grenades keys and the rocket launcher of which i still have yet to use. Bash the keyboard like a demented bi-polar drunk hopeing for the best has been my tatic today. It works sometimes.

And i only got called a noob once……and the kid appologised when i explainded how long i’d been playing, bless the little shit. 😀

One question, is there a way of inputting a server ip into the in-game browser? or is everyone using a 3rd party app like All Seeing Eye? Which by the way dosnt seem to be up to date with cod4.
