Thanks for the welcome 😀 , and sorry for the post as I feel theres 2 sides to every story and felt I should produce our account of the event. Anyways, it`s done and dusted and time to move on. Look forward to gaming with you lot at some point in the future, maybe even the odd PCW now and again 😉

Just so you know, the banning of Space was`nt, contrary to popular belief simply for “killing me 4 times in a row” That in itself IS NOT the reason for the ban, one of the reasons is trying to manipulate some of our admins to run the server by proxy even when he has nothing to do with pub anymore. I have never professed to be a great BF2 player, but I get by. But if you really think thats the reason, then take into account all the people that have killed me more than 4 times in row….the server would be empty as they`d all be banned!!!
I`ve played on your server many times and had a very enjoyable experience, as have the rest of the pub^ clan/community and hold no bad vibes against you XDC guys but we are no way “up our own arses”!!
The main reason Space was banned was the manipulation of server/clan admins for his own gains When said admins were approached by Space, they did what any responsible admin would do and report it to the CL/DCL (in which case was me).
I happened upon a admin in BF2CC while tweaking our settings, had a chat with him and discovered he was eliminating a map from the cycle cos Space asked him to as he did`nt like it, sorry but that aint on!! When I said the map cycle had been decided upon by the team, the admin then ceased his actions straight away and said “fair enuff”.Thats just the one time I personally witnessed this, but it`s happened more than once. Thats one reason. Another is trying to fracture the team with duplicitous comments aimed at subtley underminig any structure we have, while acting as if hes everyones friend. Thats just some of the things. Now maybe you can understand why I did`nt want to go public about this in the first place as although we don`t get on, I`m not responsable for any freindships he has with other team/clan members and do not and will not impose my beliefs onto others. I do not deny any friendships he has with our team, but I will not tolerate manipulation of anbody by anyone!
I let these incidents slide as I thought they were one offs, but this did`nt appear to be the case, so I had to make a decision. I feel he`s is currently making himslef look a bit silly by drawing this out and by trying to make himself look the hard done by victim. There are other reasons which I took into account, but I won`t go into detail. I felt very guilty for banning him, those there with me on TeamSpeak at the time know this.
Once again, this has been ongoing since I got back online after moving into my house and respected him for what I thought , was a good job done by him in keeping the server going, but that respect was whittled away by his actions, posts and attitude and is`nt the first time that members of the team have complained about him and his actions!
I understand that some may consider this unfair and unjust, but I have to think of the future of the team….the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
I have made a decision that I feel is just and I must stand by it. I have given him more than his fair share of chances.
At our weekly clan meeting, it transpires that he approached another admin to gain access to our clan section of the website to view any posts made about him.
I have left to say is that it was agreed by the clan (on the whole, not just the BF2 team) that the ban stays, but if we decide to go 2142 I feel I may recind the ban on the graounds of good faith and the hope anything like this does`nt happen again.
We all wish Space the best for the future and hope there are no ill feeling between XDC and pub^ over this unfortunate event
