    sounds good to me matey, never used raven before – but i had to go through the trouble of deleting tons of viagra posts on a teacher based forum, NOT GOOD! lol, but yeah, like you i found a much better anti spam tool, may have to check raven out tbh,

    The basic captcha method you get with PHPBB dosnt seem to stop all bots, i guess some go off image recognition, u can get together more distorting captcha’s.

    Yeah i had the same problem, there are plenty of better phpbb anti spam tools though, it replaces the CAPTCHA during sign up (amoungst many other things), if i find the one i used il let u no!
