No it means it’s currently in development – ie they are working towards a retail release a some point in the future.

Nope not Battlefield Bad Company as that will be a console game.
New Battlefield game for the PC currently in development- although details are very vague.

Nope I know their still working on server side stability issues at the moment so it’s better they don’t release it until they have resolved it

Yeah pretty much although it does vary depending on which software you use to run your forum. In theory he wont see any messages saying ‘your post needs to approved by a moderator before it is inserted into the thread’. The difference is depending on access levels we won’t have to read it or feel the need to respond.
Worst case senario is if as full blown XDC members we inherit Moderator rights by default then we would see the post but know that it actually hasn’t been inserted into the thread.
Magiker is the best person to clarify this with regards to permissions as he has Super Admin Access to the site for obvious reasons. Is this possible Maj?

He keeps coming back for more… I think the only thing to do is ignore his annoying trolly posts… or delete them – but thats against the XDC way, and a surefire way to provoke him.
But by moderating them, he is none the wiser as it still allows him to post his drivel only it wont be inserted into the thread without being approved by a moderator so he will be none the wiser and just think that people are ignoring him 😉

You cant find away round it they are forum based permissions tied to the user account the only way around it would be to create a new account and then it would be obvious his intent it just to piss people off and be a forum troll.

Just create an new usergroup with only legit in it and set that as his default user group, or you could just put moderate on all his replies which means he can post all he wants but until the posts are approved by a moderator it wont appear in the thread. I have used this on other forums were we have equally annoying twats just posting bollocks to get a reaction. Works realy well because sooner or later they either get the message and fook off, or change the way they post. 😈
