I got 2 of em – not worth the paper thay’re written on – Gotta guy sits next to me at work and he has no qualifications what so ever and he can do the job of about 10 MCSE’s – Experience and Knowledge is what it’s about!

To see if it’s a network prob download ethereal. It’s a packet capture tool. Do the normal shit like defragging the hard disk, check pagefile vs memory installed (being an MCSE you should know the rule of thumb when it comes to pagefile sizes). There is a little tool in windows called perfmon.exe (performance monitor) Have a read up on how to use it and with it you can monitor disk performance, cpu, memory etc. I suggest reading up about it as it can be a pain in the ass getting the info you want.

Thing is does anybody travel from Buckinghamshire (alright, alright Milton Keynes but it sounds better as Buck!) Don’t fancy lugging my pride and joy up to the event by train…coach sounds even worse!
If ya put ya name on the waiting list for I28. If they get 150 extra they will open the berkshire stand list stands at around 80 so far…
My missus thinks it’s bad enough me going to I28 so only 1 lan-up a year for me I’m afraid …
