There’s an enormous difference between “faith” and “blind faith”.
The latter is where all the extremists live – no matter what your religion. Irrespective of any argument or reasoning they return to words along the lines of “it is written in scripture”. And for them that’s it – argument closed. There is simply no reasoning with such self delusional people.
I could rant on about this forever, but I won’t as that will mean my Sunday afternoon will have gone! 🙂
As a slight aside, a very good friend of mine who I’ve known for years is a Muslim. About 10 years ago he was saying to me how worried he was by the increase in Muslim extremists, and how he could see major global problems ahead as a result of this and subsequent backlash.

Chopper Buddy: Repeatedly tell someone to get out of chopper gunner position as you only fly with your friend, and then take off and deliberately crash when gunner refuses.

I only have Special Forces.
I could get the others if that means I can play. Simply not been arsed yet.
The problem with that is that EA probably think they have WW2 covered with Medal of Honor. I doubt they’ll move another franchise back to the same era.
I’m with Turks here. The reason I think I like BF1942/Vietnam/BF2 so much is that the weapons and capabilities seem real. OK, I know liberties have been taken with magic medics, but that’s for gameplay reasons.
In otherwords, you know that an AK74 is roughly an M16. You know its ain’t going to shoot round corners or destroy a tank. You know a PKM is something that in comparison kicks like a bitch so you have to lie down. The ammo count seems about right. A grenade kills people and soft vehicles. A sniper rifle is accurate but has a low rate of fire. All these are familiar as they are “real”, but more importantly the pros & cons of various weapons and how they relate is also grounded in a sensible reality.
But I have not got a frakking clue if a Death Ray 2000 can take out armour, or if my personal shield is proof against it. I could never get on with Unreal for this reason – yeah, loads of weapons, but I have no clue how they compare. Or whether a blue flashy zappy effect when I shoot it trumps my opponents’ orange spirals.
