Easiest way to find people is via other friends accounts. Look at the friends in my profile and you’ll see Steve Brown listed there (as well as Sean, Paddy, Chris and Andy).
The search facility is a bit wank, so avoid it unless you’re searching for someone with an unusual name.
You’ll never find me if you search for Mark Hastead. Look for Mark Hasted (only the one ‘a’ but everyone in the galaxy spells it Hastead), or Sean Renard. The search function on Facebook is pretty crap, so if you’re called John Smith, you’re mates will have a hard time finding you.
And I’ve just setup an =XDC= group on Facebook too.
Mouse did nothing wrong at all.
He’s had a pretty rough time of late as some of you know, and just got some of it off his chest. To be honest, if you can’t come on TS and share your feelings with a group of friends then there’s not much point in us using it. No-one was embarrassed or uncomfortable, we just did what most blokes do and went “Yeah… Hmmmm… Tough break” because there’s not a lot more to be said.
Don’t worry about it Mouse. You’ve been through things most of us will never experience, so if you feel like opening up on TS then I doubt anyone worth their salt will have a problem with that. We don’t let folks into XDC we don’t like, so the fact that your here says it all.
The only time I can recall ever feeling uncomfortable on TS was a few months back when Turks started coming onto me. I was flattered, but ghey bottom sex isn’t my thing, so I politely refused.
Although a word of advice you you and Signal; drop the Brummie accent and try to sound a little bit like that funny Aussie guy who plays on the server called Old Phart.

Yes Mouse that is sad. It’s sad because you should be on Facebook! The only downside to this is that you might get a friend request from somebody called ‘Paddy’ (god knows who that is).

Mouse, what you need to understand is that XDC is a very proffessional clan who play to win. TS is ONLY to be used for serious dicussions of tactics and requests for medics, ammunition and arty strikes. We do not like people doing any of the following on TS:
Moaning about LeGit
Shouting “‘Ave it!”
Saying “You hairy, arse-faced, pommie, goat-shagging bum-bandit.”
Complaining that there’s ‘something wrong with your gun’.
Making fun of Max.
Going “WIIIPPPPEEERRRRRRRS!” When Wipers comes online.
Complaining about Taxi drivers or Doctors.
Speaking with a Northern accent.
Coming into the 2142 room and saying it’s a crap game and we should play RO.
Screaming “That fucking fuck fucked my fucking fuck! The fucking fuck!”
Giving a running commentary of EVERYTHING you do ala Batesy.
Saying “You blaady wankers” in a mock English accent.

Hey! That Stellarium is pretty bloody neat for a bit of open-source software. Just got it up and running on Linux and had a quick zip around the skies. Very impressive.
