yeah, afaik, it’s the same as XP, there a certain restriction about installing on another machine, so it’s nothing new and ways to get around it.
I think i might bite the bullet and have a crack at installing it and sod the consequences. i think i once “owned a copy of windows 95 that came with a PC i bought, but apart from that i’ve “borrowed” keys from friends in IT dept’s.
i figure i may as well go for the 64bit version if my hardware can handle it and hope for the best. Whats life about if you can’t take a little risk. ๐

The missus is off to the states this weekend, i have palmed the nipper off onto my parents saturday night, so i have two days to fuck about getting it right either side of a gargantuan hangover.

Now, a bit of advice……can i take it that because i have a AMD64 4000+, 2Gb RAM and a 7900GT, i should go for the 64bit version or better off sticking to the 32bit version?
yup, i second that, i hate hospitals at the best of times, but when you have to take the kids in.
Our boy had a weeks stay in hospital this time last year with some dodgeh virus that mean’t him being hookede up to all sorts of machines.

i haven’t had a shit lot of time to play recently, but i’ll defo make it the game of choice this weekend.

*edit* is our server running a mod? i can’t connect to it, i just get the connect screen then it tells me of a unknown steam error a few minutes later, but when i connect to any other server it’s fine.
TF2 has been a long time coming, they’ve been promising it since HL2 came out but have said it’s coming with the next HL2 installment of episode 2.
I’ve been playing TF for years and i’m very much looking forward to this.
lies, as if they’d trust max with the set up for our servers, if Pharty’s rumours are true, he can’t even manage the ones he gets paid to sort out. ๐

Just had a look on the bioshock website as i was looking to buy this game next, play has it for a next friday release, but the website say’s it isn’t release until june 2007 which has put a dampener on things. ๐
looking good, i think i may well pre-order that. It’ll be out just intime for when i complete GOW (just got RAAM to beat now), R6:Vegas ( haven’t even put the disk in the machine yet) and i get bored of PGR3.
just bagged myself one of these beauties along with PGR3, Gears Of War and R6:vegas. My gamertag is XDCBeer Monster, so if anyone wants to add me, i’d love to give the online gaming a crack (once i use my months free gold account) and preferably avoid the pubescent yank kids that i see that a lot of people complain about.
