I think recruitment is much needed,if people still play BF2142 and COD4,5 etc then recruit them
just because some of the older lads aren’t interested anymore so what! there’s still a strong player base for all of those games.This is the main thing I want to look at on Sunday, and discuss how best to manage it. We reached a point a couple of years ago where our dedicated player base found other things to dedicate their time to, such as family, so we need to build that player base up before we can function again as the gaming clan Doc so fondly remembers 😉
It was tried in EVE but after two weeks nothing happened!, still not sure about what happened there)
Get new people in start the server/s up again and get XDC back to where it should be.The problem there was that too many of us were happy where we were, which is difficult to find in eve. It can be a hard to get to where you want to be in the game, and certainly since I’ve been there, I’ve not felt like leaving.

😆 Ok I can see this being a laugh, so even if the game’s crap in the end, it’s still worth £20, sign me up.

Any proper reviews out for this yet mate? I’m tempted but am a little put off by a video for this that went about a few months back, which looked shit. Having said that though, the fact you guys are all getting it, will probably swing it for me.

Tried this twice last night but running into same problem I had last time when copying the COH stuff, and I’m not sure whether it’s my drive, Nero, or just the batch of DVD’s which are fucked. I’ll try again tonight but do you have a USB stick by any chance which you could post over?

I got distracted by my flatmate last night mate, but if you fancy testing it out online this evening, jump on TS again, I’ll be home and about online from about half 5 or 6.
Final verdict on this is that it’s worth getting then? Is there a multiplayer mode to it, and do people find themselves coming back to the game after completing single player?

Paddy are you available again tonight to try and get a server up? I was too drunk last night to realise the solution to our problem. Oh and I do apologise for my booting from that server where we could have maybe got a game, but in the cold light of day I think I must’ve been team killing, and not “kicking ass” 😆 It was the game before that was FFA, and I vaguely remember a blue box around my start location, indicating I was on a team, and vaguely remember killing a number of blue uniformed players…oops

I’m not convinced about it yet, because I saw a trailor for it not long ago, and it looked shit. It’s a possibility though, and I’m probably still more likely to get it than not, based on how good the first one was.
Oh and when someone else installs this, could you let me know, as I’d like to test it out properly in multiplayer so we pick up on any problems early, and can hopefully solve them before everyone turns up for a game.
