I don’t understand why it can’t be the same as the tank infra red.
It won’t make a comeback though in the way you suggest. On Metro it’s fucked beyond belief, but on almost every other map it’s still ok at close quarters. Not great, but ok. The plan is to balance the effect across every map.

I’ve not actually been on the server much this last week sicne the patches release but I noticed yesterday that the map list is still reverting back to the older setting, and the banlist, which I’ve cleared about 17 times, keeps repopulating itself. Now I’m not sure if this is an issue with the patch, or the admin program, but I’m going to find out over the next few days, however I need to know whether the server is still randomly restarting itself as it was under the R10 patch (the one before this week’s patching). I’m guessing it is, because the last couple of days it’s been on Canals with the server empty, but I’ve not yet seen it happen, so need to ask you guys?

Yea i’ve noticed your success with it aling with the ak, and I think flyffy does pretty well with them as well. I’ve not yet settled on a favourite gun for assault so giving it a try….though I hate the m16 ironsights…..also hate my spelling from my phone.
Fingers crossed that works doc and also that the patch contains the bulk of material required for the karkand release next week.
Not had much of a chance to play since the patch but for a couple of games last night when I was mostly experimenting with new guns anyway. Once or twice I wished I had the scope to scan the immediate area around me but just as often I found myself hiding somewhere safe in the knowledge i’d be hard to spot, and that was refreshing.
On th experimenting point, could someone quickly remind me which m16 has the normal rate of fire? I got stuck with the burst one for a round last night and it was a little irritating.
Next Tuesday, and I think £15…or nothing extra if you got the limited edition preorder of the full game.
