Had a couple if games of this on monday and it was good fun. i’ll definitely have another game of this sometime.
I read somewhere that one point was being dropped from across the river, so it’ll be similar to the old 64 player flag layout.
From the video it actually looks like they’ve only got 2 points over the river this time, and 5 on the main part. They appear to have the market from the 16 player version of the old karky in there as well as the other 4 shown above. Over the river they have the gatehouse and warehouse.

I didn’t know that. Does that mean their entire infrastructure is the same? Does it also mean policies such as fair usage are likely the same as well?
We think this may be having quite a negative effect at the moment, but will persevere until the server empties.
As an experiment I’ve now lowered the start players from 6 last night, which worked ok, to 4 tonight. We still show up as a normal server, but we’ll see tonight how easy it is to keep it filled up, as I think it takes us off the list of servers you can quick join.

I’ve tested this theory already and unfortunately it doesn’t 🙁 May try again tonight just to be sure though.

They used to be good back in the day, and they were reasonably good for the past year or so here, but I’ve had problems with them before like I’m having now and last time it took them 6 months to fix the problem which also takes them 4 months on average to admit exists. I’ve also noticed their service ratings steadily declining over the past few years on sites like thinkbroadband.com where they used to score over 80% for quality and have slumped to only marginally better than BT these days, hovering around 60%. I’ve run out of patience and bailing as soon as I can for BE there who come highly recommended by Stalker, as well as strong ratings on thinkbroadband. O2 also score strongly on there as well.
I’ll also be on during the day today as I’m off work, waiting for an engineer to come round to install the new phone line I need to switch away from Virgin media. I hope this will mean an end to the rubber banding I get in the evenings very soon 🙂

Seriously though, it makes a massive difference being in a squad who’re focused on the actual game rather than sitting in one with the sniper types (for example) who sit miles away from the action, usually doing nothing for the team except for the occasional kill. It also helps being on ts so you’re able to focus what you’re all doing a bit, rather than being the type of squad who are always running off in different directions.
The poster in this case appears to have given up after a massive 4 minutes and 33 seconds, during which time he didn’t get a kill and suffered a humiliating 3 deaths. He had 0% accuracy from 31 shots fired from a M41A, and his team lost the round of team deathmatch.
