Oh man i am so pissed at relic.
My computer has been on all night and day…. and I am at 76%!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!

the time… tonight
the place…. relic servers
the challenge…. get a game together without frickin nat errors every 5 minutes!
Well I did a faitr bit of research into this when buying my new processor – a lot of the data seems to suggest that quad cores are actually slower than equivelent dual cores because they dont work very efficiently except in specialised tasks. Alan Wake is highly unusual in that it is being optimised for 4 cores – but its a gamble as to how many other games will do that in the future.
Personally i reckon if you spent the money on a top of the range dual core you would be better off… and buy a quad core in a year or two if it looks like the technical issues with doing multi core processing are ironed out. But I’m no expert.

Ummm – the game is probably crap because every1 downloaded godfather 1 rather than buy it… thus reducing the amount they can justify on R+D/ content this time round. Its all interlinked! 🙄

Phone is really sweet now.
Has added use of the front camera (not that useful but hey! And geotagging if you are into that. More importantly it has improved the auto rotate and a lot of the apps run a bit smoother/ the screen works better.

Yeah I know I look a bit miserable – must have been the tear gas! 😆
I would have smiled… but somehow I thought it was inappropriate for the circumstances.
BTW the car had been on its roof – it had only just been rolled back over! Loads of windows were smashed and we saw a few bins/ skips on fire. Good night out really… though not quite the romantic evening the girlfriend expected.
And Wolf that is the worst mash up EVER! Leave it to the experts (like Johnny.) 😛
