Hang on a minute, do these teamspeak type things cost money then? Bastards.

I ask because me and my mates have played a bit of GRAW co-op and we were considering going all nerdy and doing this voice comms thing because the game badly needs it.

I’ve got no idea how any of this works though. I’d assumed that I’d just download one, hit a button and bobs your uncle and fannys your aunt. I’ve looked at a few screenshots though and it looks like hard work.

So is there a free one and what would I need to download?

Sick at first glance mate, the geeky TS/Vent shit looks daunting, and fuck me it is! Stay clear of it.

Before you know it nights out don’t end with rank chat to taxi drivers, and you’re sat singing to a computer screen, or insulting it in ways only americans should be.

So I should use Ventrilo because it’s clearer then?

I don’t really think it’s on me using other people’s voice servers to play GRAW but would I be right in thinking that since only 4 people can play it anyway it won’t screw up the bandwidth if one of us hosted the server ourselves whilst someone else hosted the game?

And I can dload Ventrilo and use it for free?

Eeh I don’t know. Times were that the only thing you needed to sort out with your mates is whose round it was.
