Is this what I need to download games for my daughter to play on her DS? Is it easy to use? Her friend has one and it has saved them an arm and a leg in games

Participantthere are a few types, i use a dx xtreme, u have to be careful which one you buy as some are a bit lazy with the firmware, in other words, some of the latest games wont be playable unless you patch them. The R4 is much like the other cards out, yes, you should just be able to drag and drope the .nds files (NDS Roms) onto the cartridge, when its hooked up to the pc, and voila. Away u go. Easy peasy! Works just like a memory stick ๐

ParticipantDo you use torrents? You can download packs of the games, there usually set out like this: the first pack will be the first 1-1000 games, then the next will be 1000-2000, so on, some maybe in 500’s, but you can get them via torrents, also, depending on the size of the card you get, you’ll only be able to put on around 5 on at a time, and if u get bored of those, u drag them off and another 5 go on, so on and so forth.
sites like this: http://nds-roms.com/ will also provide roms.

ParticipantTess, you may need an SD card, i assume the r4 comes with the SD card, depends what package you buy, looks like the r4 plugs into ur ds, and the sd card plugs into ur ds, which is diff to what i have – my one goes mini usb from the cart straight to the pc – im guessing, instead of doing this, they use the SD card for the r4 to transfer data, makes sence.

ParticipantI guy at work has just bought an R4 for his DS it uses the mini sd card that plugs into the R4 card itself. The mini SD plugs into a usb adapter and you just drag the roms from your pc to the mini SD/USB connection.
All comes together with CD and instructions for รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ40
