ok i know gra and sig may read, this to enable arma to load quicker, edit your shortcut thus….
G:ArmAarma.exe -nosplash -world=empty
substitute G with C or whatever….nosplash is intro and world empty stops it pre loading a map.(include spaces)

its a great sound mod.
once downloaded using winrar/zip uncompress files, the file will be called HiFiFX1.4fRC2 …rename to @HiFi and place in your arma folder..then edit your shortcut to read….G:ArmAarma.exe -nosplash -world=empty -mod=@HiFi
arma will then use these sounds as default.
i am loving this game
the AK now sounds terrific….sound mod is great…need to get on TS and get a game of Warfare going…3 of us in a jeep causing mayhem and havoc 😀
took out a 3 man squad last nite…earnt some good money 😉
might get back into this at some point, anyone want tyo post up the details of all the current patches/mods required from a clean install?

download depending what version you have , im guessing 505 games ..so option 2
must admit my game looks stunning on 24″ monitor, loads of eye candy..getting 30-40 fps with 3000+ view distance.
It is worth spending half an hour ingame getting the best settings for your rig, you can change all the graphical settings without leaving the game..do it in mp though, with a few trees, buildings about. i spent half an hour doing this with fraps if you can set post process to high it looks stunning.
