So… fired up BF earlier….. updater started its painfully slow progress. After getting half way (after a LONG time) the update process crashed.
I now have to start downloading the whole fucking thing again??? With no guarantee the same thing won’t happen?
Arghhhh. I am only allowed a limited download quota every month – so not happy.
Has anyone found a safe torrent for it to let me download it separately?
Thats why im glad that i have it on steam so that steam automatically updates it teh second the update is released…
Doc, in your case it might be better waiting at least a day until after major patch has been released, or possibly try and find a good mirror (like multiplay used to provide us and assuming it’s an option for BC2). Patch days are likely to overload their servers and make errors like this more likely.
Thats the problem Alzir – I cannae find any mirrors! Why would EA have a problem releasing it to sites that are willing to host? Bastards.
from an admin point of view its pretty damn good likes…
not had much time to play in game but the upgraded hit reg boxes are a shitload better, means i can actually kill alpha when i shoot him 100 times lol…
