The only reason the elf put out was the fact I went in the wrong house (door opposite ‘the warehouse’) and stumbled upon a potential gang raping. So seeing as raping birds isn’t my thing I decide to hack them all up and got a free fumble later on for my trouble. Thats the good thing about being a witcher is that you can’t catch a dose so not bothered about sloppy seconds off the peasants. I’ll even nob old greenie in the swamp if she’ll have it.

you’re right though, certainly not really worth a ‘warm up’ but amusing none the less.

*ahem* http://www.pornbb.org *ahem* (great for rapidshare users) *cough*

Unfortunately Insane “dryhump” appears to raise no matches on that site though.

Anyhow, have you seen that movie on the internet featuring that thalidomide pornstar?

He’s got an arm like a baby’s cock.

Just finished last night (on hard difficulty)

Very good story – few unexpected twists and turns… better than some books I’ve read lately. I didnt really like the way the story unfolded through the dictaphone diaries though… I can see why they used that particular plot device… but surely theres a more elegant solution to explaining back story to players?

Need to get me COD 4 now 🙂

lol – the old find the pda / audio diary plot device.. a classic from deus ex to doom 3

what else can they use? i agree that it is getting cliched but there are only so many alternatives and i think it beat endless cut scenes with dodgy acting.

    Your totally right.

One thing about Doom 3 though.. at least when you accessed computers at higher security levels you learned more secret stuff and it had some tenuous believability to how things progressed. In bioshock it is completely random why people leave these bloody tapes lying around in bars/ bedrooms/ labs etc… but they all spookily follow on from each other. I can only suspend my disbelief so far.

Having said that. The voice acting was very good in Bioshock… makes a change.

do the bouncers keep respawning after you kill one? just killed one before you go to that fish place and another walked through the door straight after. also having problems finding a decent way to kill them, using a combination of electro bolt then machine gun at the moment.

the big dadies always respawn…. basically don’t fuck with them unless you need to grab a little sister from them. they are buggers to kill.

I find insect swarm followed by electric buck to be helpful….. though electic gel in one mammoth stream is an expensive but safe way to kill em.

why on earth these guys in diving suits get damaged by buzzing insects is beyond me however 😀

whats up with that BS mouse acceleration bug in XP……. what a massive oversight.

all you can eat and easily digest tweak guide here.

    http://www.tweakguides.com/Bioshock_1.html

it sorted the mouse out, plus a host of other minor niggles. On a positive note this is a very impressive game and well worth picking up, so much thought has gone into pulling away from a standard mundane FPS experience. Atmospheric, jaw dropping GFX and sound. There are so many toys to deal with the enemies it’s astounding. Have nearly had a few dark, late night headphone, pant splitting heart attacks when the spider splicers drop behind you and just wait for you to turn around and frighten the shite out of you, nice touch….even though it nearly killed me…more than once.
