Downloaded and tried the demo – it was absolutely terrible.
Anyway – it’s not an mmo Ryzo, I think it’s more like Guild Wars in that it has single player levels and multiplayer hubs.
installed, couldn’t bind the keys how I wanted. Ran down a path, Oh look Holborn station’s closed, shot a zombie, uninstalled.
not my bag at all.

ParticipantJust in case anybody sticks with it longer than Judge running it on DX9 it’s fine top settings runs like a dream, but when I run it in DX10 although I have a top spec pc it CTD’s after about 5 mins, just a hint in case anybody else is having the same problem. Used to like Diablo alot and it’s very similar.

ParticipantYea it runs well enough and I may give this another go when I’m done with the Witcher…I think it just pissed me off mainly because it wouldn’t let me bind the keys i wanted…. I hate that. 🙂
but with the likes of COD4, Crysis, TF2, UT3 and even Gears of War PC I doubt I’ll have the time tbh.

ParticipantRecommended specs from players for running it in dx10, have a GTX model 8800 or at least the 640mg version and also at least 4 gig of ram, this takes up 1.5 gig of memory when playing in DX9 so I’d hate to imagine how much it takes in DX10, I have a sneaky inkling that anybody who wants to use DX10 for games is going to have a Cray spare lying around somewhere, half decent game it’s basically Diablo 3rd person and updated gfx.

ParticipantI have a 8800 GTX, 3 ghz Duel core, 4096 ddr2, Soundblaster Gamer Pro Card, and it runs terribly on DX10, dosnt handle it well at all. its DX10 or nothing at all for me – so i sold it yday on ebay 😛

Participantaye I know I have a similar spec’d pc and I have had to lower it 1024*768 on DX9 to get it running smooth. Shame really

Participantyup, same here, shld run seemlessly on 1680 by 1050, but dosnt, didnt think it was my system – reassurting to hear ur geting the same issue, – the gameplay is good, but as mentioned, no point playing a DX10 game in DX9,

ParticipantI’d say the point is to not have to install crappy Vista 🙂
I’m convinced, doubt I’ll be going any further with this game.

Participantconsidering it was being developed well before/during vista, you would of thought they may of implemented it a little bit better 🙁 :(, ah well, COD4 arrives today 😉 ,
