RIP Hardcore and AFK mainly but join TS to find out. The Cod4 ingame browser is a joke – no buddy list so finding people is next to impossible.

TUT! So you do play Hardcore.. why not ours, I gave up the game because asked for a Ranked server of our very own? I thought you were all wearing blouses now and prefer Ranked mode with all its perks and such

Yeah, ranked hardcore. Still perks and airstrikes but with hardcore settings (1 frag nade, reduced info on HUD etc). Thats what we asked you to set up. We do get it going when there are enough XDC around and it does get some guests passing through (eg Friday night). Don’t know why you stopped playing??

According to the people who made the game, theres a very limited amount of gubbins you can change before it deranks itself.. i.e reducing nades.. check the post below for the settings and see if I’ve missed owt.. I’m pretty certain if you start limiting nades.. your unranked.. oh and our 32 player COD Server is set to Ranked and Hardcore.. as above, too many changes will cause it to Unrank :/
I stopped because I dont like the Ranked mode.. Arty, nade dropping at feet perks etc etc
Have a read of this and let me know if i’m missing something…

Keep in mind that all servers using MODDED config files will be UnRanked. All servers using default config files with no changes will be Ranked.

Ah I see. Having the hardcore game mode set on does not unrank your server. So really we should called our ranked server ‘Hardcore Ranked’ rather than just ranked seeing as thats what others are doing and what people expect. The one we’ve called hardcore should be named something else like ‘Realism Unranked’ or something.
It would also be cool to get colour in the server name, make it stand out in the browser list.
