my comp cant cope on high setting in the demo and i dont see a huge amount of difference to Arma unless graphics are fully tweaked. Still feels like half a game like ARMA did bugs gallore
it is very good looking on high…..there are a lot of bugs (publisher made them get it out early) in the sp modes, dont play that so it dosent bother me, there have been 2 patches and as with Bis the community will use the editor/tools to enhance the game.

ParticipantWhat nOm sez.
This ‘feels’ much more like the original OFP than Arma did. Also the mission editor functions like the OFP one as Arma had made some subtle but annoying changes. For my money, they’ve taken some good ideas from Arma: Queen’s Gambit and combined it with what made OFP good. However, the original game didn’t come into its own for years, until technology had caught up with the performance.
When I buy my next graphics card in 2011 I’m sure this game’ll be even more awesome, especially with all the extras it’ll have by then.

ParticipantIs anybody playing this these days… being an OFP devotee and seeing this is done by Bis I’m thinking it’s worth a punt?

KeymasterGoing to start making it, or already quite far along the making process? Aren’t these the same guys who released a mod for one of the BF games shortly after the next offical BF game was released, therefore missing the boat?

ParticipantCan anyone point me to a site that hosts some decent British forces skins for this game?

should be out June/July you often see a server up for the beta testers, played pr for a bit, a top game let down by the engine so hopefully the arma engine will be better 😀

ParticipantCheers nom, I’ll have a look. Going to get some co-op missions to do with my mates. No doubt about it, co-op Flashpoint was the best online game I’ve ever played.
Reinstalled this recently – I’ve got a decent quad core these days and can run this on maximum settings with the viewing distance turned up to full and by christ it looks good. Except for the animations of course, which can be as daft as ever. The voice acting on this latest one is hilarious though. Did they go to some mong hospital for the actors?

ParticipantWhere are people playing then?
