Just a note to Silversides to say sorry I missed you this morning, I was having a lie in and you left IRC literally 5 minutes before I got up and sat down at computer 🙁
Played a couple of hours tonight – forgot how good this game really is (although some chap in a plane anihalated my entire team for most of one of the maps.
Only prob is I am getting mahoosive lag spikes – does anyone know of a tool to find out whether it is my PC, the interenet or the wireless network?

Someone may be able to suggest something better, or correct what I’m about to say, but try Winmrt. Run a trace to something like google, or indeed to the server you’re playing on. If you notice a spike in your ping or package loss to the router, then it’s probably your wireless, beyond that is probably internet. I’m not sure what results you would get from someone else downloading though, but I’m sure if you post the results here someone can interpret.
