Cheers Mugworth; unfortunately I went through seven hells trying to get a multiplayer game going before I noticed your post 😆

It may be sacrilege to mention it but I just bought Flat Out on eBay for £5 new. The demo is absatotafuckinglutely gorgeous and hilarious. Two minutes playing the demo convinced me.

I’ll hang fire on toca 3 despite it being the best game that I can efectively control with the keyboard.

Hehe yeah flat out is an ace game. i had tons of fun with that. a.i is pretty mad on it lol.

Really big shame there is no multiplayer on it. I believe flat out 2 has some kind of multiplayer possibly, but not heard anything about this game recently.

I am gutted about the mp of Flat Out. It does 8 on a LAN and some guys wrote a couple of internet gaming tools for it (not available anymore – I’ve emailed them about that!). One of them wrote a 16 player online mod for it.

But… I had no idea it was an old game lol. Flat Out 2 is out and looks amazing. Might have to get it if it will run on my machine and has proper net play built-in.

graphics were pretty good and everyone would love to play destrustion derby mode. quite good that.
