…so to implement operation “quick swap” were looking at a minimum of £500 + a gfx card.
its got the z68 chipset you mention so might last a wee bit longer.ahhh.. fantasy land is a great place 😥

seems to do the job tho.the other option is..
build a complete replica PC with all new i7 processor etc etc.. clone the existing disks so all her apps are on it and just slot it into place.. having done the swap by taking it out to the garage for its “tidy up”…
its a bit of a drastic plan for a game tho.. hmm.. (goes off to price up the bits…) 😉

To be able to suck ass at a decent frame rate im looking at
new PSU : £65
new CPU : £120
new GFX :~£100Maybe ill stick to sucking at a lower frame rate?
If im doing it ill need to do it all in one go… There is only so much mileage you can get out of.. “… nothing dear, im just tidying the wires…” 🙂
i think i could go with a Q8400 in my mobo.. (£120 at scan)

so you dont rekon they add to your accuracy or anything.. im talking about behind the scenes. i.e. have the coders added something if youve got this sight or that attachment. like why use this heavy barrel ive seen people using? i assume its to steady the weapon and reduce climb?
i just thought there might be a point to the laser sight? if its just bling then i wont bother using it.
I thought they were visible to all all the time. even side on.. but ill keep my eye out to see if i can see them.
I was able to hear you all on TS last night! which was good. (using the TS client on my phone, just because i can. and didnt want yet another app running on the pc)
I wasnt on for long as “The New Baby” (as my eldest calls her) was being a little bit demanding.
I also figured out how to join Max’s squad eventually.
Therse a little teeny weeny button with “join” on it down at the bottom of the screen when youre not in a squad. Silly me i was looking for a button or something near the other squad related menus..
