    anyone got the Heavy Unlocks yet?

    Dunno ’bout yous but I think…

    Sandvich – better than I’d thought in that it’s actually quite useful (when you remember that you’re carrying it doh!.) can see it getting nerfed, do miss having the shotty to hand mind. I just need to pick less obvious picnic spots though, as OM NOM NOM NOM tends to make you sitting duck ‘Konspicuous’.
    Natasha – I realise that the unlocks are not technically ‘upgrades’ but ‘alternatives’ I think this gun, while sounding heaps better (and quieter) is actually shite downgrade useless. It’s only benefit seems to be against fleeing scouts, which tbh were never much of a problem seeing as they have fook all health anyway. So having a gun thats doing 25% less per hit (and no extra ammo capacity) but slightly slowing the enemy down is kinda nonsense as it makes no odds to soldiers and demos they are just around longer to finish you off. Maybe it’ll be more use when there aren’t so many Heavies on the servers too.So Sasha is still hotter IMO 🙂
    K.G.B – They look ace and you gotta love the ‘ding ding’ uppercut taunt that comes with them (i presume you can finish someone off with that? hmm must try) but the punch speed decrease makes it almost impossible to nail anyone with the first punch let alone benefit from the following 5 second crit boost (coz it’s pretty easy to outrun Heavy so wtf).

    For a change (and for it to feel less like a chore) I didn’t farm them this time (not that I farmed all the others, just a few of the trickier ‘never gonna happen otherwise’ ones :)), all done on proper servers. Made 1 enemy though poor guy kept giving me Uber only for me to kill one person then start taunting leaving him confused and usually dead shortly after (Photostroika I think it was called) 🙂

    iNSANE: look mate, smashing pumpkins as they maybe, a real man would notice that at least 6 sets of baps in those pictures are fake so stop pretending m8 and embrace your true self, we won’t think any less of you fella…….

    I’m contacting trading standards with a potential false advertising claim regarding the above appendages so thanks for brining them to my attention.

    Yea Arena modes great until you get 2 people on opposing teams wait until everyones dead then both stand on the CP…..rinse and repeat until server empties.

    genius testing right there. Don’t care really, Like Wizzy says it’s not TF2 enough for me so I probably won’t be spending a lot of time on it.

    Liking everything else though, new PL map is very neat. Tidy update.

    The Heavy’s second unlockable, Natascha, slows enemies with her bullets. Anyone damaged by her will move slower for an instant, encouraging them to find cover or turn and face the Heavy, mano-a-tiny-itty-bitty-mano. Unfortunately, Natascha is slightly weaker than Sasha, so she takes longer to finish off a victim. As a result, Natascha’s great against fleeing cowards, such as Scouts & Medics, and less great against anyone actively trying to kill her master. Heavies that like to jump around corners and surprise groups of startled enemy crybabies will also find her very useful, although they should look for a Sasha-wielding enemy Heavy before they leap.

    No mention of it being any more accurate though….hmm could be good, kinda like that pinning feeling you get while being shot in CS.

    apparently it might be some kind of Arena mode. In the DLL files, there’s convars for tf_arena_
    One to set a class change limit, and one to force users to a random class each spawn.

    Arena would explain how they managed to spit out 5 maps I guess.

    The only thing that annoys me about the compression blast is the delay between using it and getting the flame back…dying way too much there. Although returning a rocket at point blank range has often very comedic results.
