ParticipantOK 9/11 was symbolic for obvious reasons strike at the economic/political/military heart etc where the people trained to fly planes and of course, hijack them for their purposes. But making a hole in the side of a plane that may or may not work causing the “possibly defininte” deaths of all on board is only going to slightly increase the considerable airport baggage security we already have in place.
Now take that context to the next level and imagine sniffer dogs and baggage and guard checkpoints before you even enter the airport. strict rules for not carrying anything if you are going to pick someone up etc
thats the potential outcome of a strike at an airport terminal which would cause chaos inconvenience etc etc more than just another Lockerbie
for those that remember mid air plane blowing up aint nothing new. Also on another note. personally every time i’m in a plane I accept that there is a reasonable risk of potential fatal accident from take off to landing. I accept that risk and hope that I get a seat next to a pretty woman just in case. That same risk does not apply in the actual airport but of course then would if someone was to do as I’ve been suggesting.
Dont forget that larger groups could work that and place cases at strategic columns that support the terminal etc. they are only limited by the amount they can carry in the suitcases. The mentality isnt “kill the infidels” its “cause disruption” and if a few infidels die in the proccesss then so be it.
To re-iterate my point: which would cause the most disruption? an airplane falling out of the sky or a destroyed terminal building?
think about it 😉XDCsPUNKer

One small bomb on an airborne plane, plane goes down, 100+ dead, one small bomb in a crowded building might kill a dozen. Pretty obvious which one will kill most and cause most mayhem.
And um…..Im sure a cany terrorist who’s spent ages concocting a special cocktail that in peices will pass through the airport security control so he can make a small bomb on a plane that may or may not go off and give the results they wanted would undoubtably (if he so felt like it) walk into a busy airport to a crowded checkin with 2 (or more) fuck off LARGE suitcases packed with explosives and cause as much mayhem as you can imagine. If the idea is to disrupt flights and daily lives then there you have it…an entire terminal out of action. Air traffic control chaos and increased security before you even set foot in an airport.
We asked 100 people which act of terror would cause the most overall devistation and fear…You said “bomb on a plane”

Galloway may have the gift of the gab and the ability to promote a populist view of middle east politics to a war-weary audience in lots of easy sound-bites but it doesn’t stop him being a PRIZE COCK whose tongue was so far up Saddam Husseins arse the former dictator of Iraq was practically speaking in a Weegie accent. And never, ever forget Celebrity Big Brother. 🙄
Sorry guys but if i want enlightenment on the middle east crisis my last stop would be George Galloway. He’s just an attention seeking arse.
lol point taken. obviously Ive been out of the UK loop for over a year so with regards to this guy I havent a clue. I just like the fact that he stuck one in Ruperts balls and if it takes an outspoken arsehole to make fools out of the manipulating media then thats fine by me 😉
