    I asume it will if it runs XP home and also has USB ports which are pretty much all you need for itunes ie a USB to connect the ipod and an operating system that runs itunes + wifi to connect to internet. Doesnt have a DVD rom so would be advisable to have a memory stick or buy a small external hard drive in order to make any transfers to burn on another system

    sorry. cant really comment on this. Any new laptop nowadays will come with Vista. Any laptop nowadays or from 4 years back will serve you with what you want to do with it. Hell! even a Comodore 64 would surfice! if the most important thing is battery life then that should be your key criteria as any of the rest of that stuff on the list you could probably manage with a digital watch nowadays 😛
