And I can relate iNSANE, had a few games of that too. record was an entire full team once. Then there are only 2 things you can do: prepare to die a lot or take some cammo and try to take some tags 😈

Bit silly of me, I forgot that if you switch from the team the server put you on, you get a -2 in score (which is bull since some just try and balance the teams a bit). Since I never see XDC peeps with that score at the beginning of a round, it must be the server dividing you up that way. It may have sounded a bit like an accusation, didn’t mean it that way. And it’s not that I mind, hell if I have any choice I take the squad that has the most XDC in it 🙄

T’was nice being wasted by you too, sir. You’re quite right, best times in ’42 were had when me and a friend flew stukka’s around, scooping eachother after taking a base and wasting everyone in it 🙂
Even that small amount of teamwork was better than most anything you did in that game (except knife fights, those were hilarious). 2142 is a huge improvement because of the teamwork. But sometimes one team dislays it a bit more than the other. I might happen to be in that “other” team a bit frequently 😛I agree with most of what has already been said here. And in reply to the thread title, it comes down to what team you’re playing. Whenever I enter the server I notice one thing: one team has almost all the XDC players in it (playing with each other is better than against one another eh?).
Anyway, that team seems to mostly dominate the other team a bit. I spawn at a base, and get flanked at two-three sides before I can say “what’s going on here?”. Very nice teamwork. I’ve very rarely played squads that showed better teamwork than the average XDC squad (though when I do, it’s just because it’s one of those all assault squads that revive each other constantly).
It’s beautiful when you see a walker take a 2 second stop, at some base in gibraltar, and then see it get EMPed by both the commander, 3 supports and then get thoroughly thrashed by a guy in the railgun and a few engineers. Good times.

Hi, I’m Silphy.
I’ve been around since 1942, playing on the XDC server more than any other. Back in 1942 my nick was Silver D where I whored both planes and the medic class. At some point the server changed to BF 2 and I never really got into that game, though I did buy that thing.
Now that I have 2142 I couldn’t be happier to visit the XDC server some more. I already swapped tags with some of the XDC peeps and horribly Tk’d a few others (by mistake mind you, damn EMP’s 😳 )Hope seeing you all on the Battlefield
