Welcome one and all, and thankyou NeonSamurgay for that heartfelt introduction. I would just like to clarify that I am the founder of the XDC Alliance, but really that means nothing, I was just the first to the “found Alliance” button in Ogame, T00th has been playing longest, although Dr1p and Doc are the best with HoF’s left right and bloody centre!
as regards rule 3, Doc/Delta isn’t really gay, like Neon, he’s just been the focus for a ribbing in Ogame, borne out of Jealousy and immaturity on my behalf, and as such, fair game!
We are taking a bt of a risk here in that we don’t have many enemies in Uni 5 and we don’t want wars left right and centre, we will fight them if we are declared upon, but we don’t make a habit o declarig wars, or trying to bitte of more than we can chew, and we know you have your own Alliance style of play, but would appreciate it if you could try not to piss of too many people, or at least wait a week between pissing off Addar and Kolo Dan!
Apart from that, have fun, take the piss out of each other and expect to have the piss take out of you, chill out, relax, grab a beanbag and an ashtray and select one of the four rooms, Traditiola Scottish Reels (at a guess, Doc is the DJ), DnB (whatever Munkee is listening too), slightlly homoerotic 80’s rock Opera (whatever Neon is listening to), or Prog (whatever I am listening to).
5 runs and a new ball! if you could buy a new ball at any point in a match for 5 runs, bet teams would! Although no evidence of ball tampering has been found, and Pakistan felt aggreived, they should have just lodged a complaint after the match, or at the end of the day, the rules are clear about being late or not turning up for tea, and in that instance the Umpires acted quite correctly, the Pakistnis only have them selves to blame AFAIC.
Regardless of the actions of Daryl Haire with the ball tampering incident, Pakistan could have left it at 5 run penalty AND a new ball (which can be a real advantage, but the sad thing is that they refused to come out in 2protest” after tea, at which point the Umpires were right to forfeit the match. Remember that there are 2 umpires and they both make decisions regarding the match, and Daryl Haire consulted the other umpire over both decisions. Either way Pakistan deservedly forfeited te match because of their un cricket like “protest” IMHO, shame because they could have won the match, although it looked like being a draw, they were certainly in the driving seat.

If you can guarentee us a sing song around the Joana, some jellied eels, a knees up with some chimney sweeps and honest to goodness cockney hospitality then we might be interested.
