forget pics, can see plenty of footage which has most of what you could probably post. What’s the gameplay mechanics like? Does it have a 42 or BF4 feel to it? Any ideas on specs? Will you be buying the game?
BF1 i think is looking great, been watching tons of gameplay vids on youtube and it’s the closest i’ve felt a game capture the feel of what BF42 was in a long time. There’s no doubt i’ll be playing it and hopefully a lot of XDC will give it a shot.
i bought my pc from pcspecialist.co.uk and it’s a decent rig which didn’t cost a fortune, paid it off over 12 months.

got a pc and had a game of BF4 yesterday for the first time in a year or so. I’m just busy with work so not getting so much downtime at the mo.

can’t agree more. Just been on BF4 for the first time in ages and i still get confused with the myriad of options when it comes to the load outs. Half a dozen different handles, scopes, sights, 2x, 4x, 20x etc etc just does my head in. At the end of the round you’ve won points for this, are so many % towards the next rank or upgrade, kill death ratio is such’n’such blah blah blah.
I enjoy the modern games but enjoyed the simplicity of BF42 so much more.
Going back to the title of the thread, i can’t believe it’s 7 years since we lost Chris (Mugworth) so unexpectedly. I give him a little thought now and then when i think about BF42 or watch an old music video i made from BFV footage that had me following him around in spectator mode. I vaguely remember pistol pete but only knew him from the odd game or three.
I wonder what they would of made of the advancements in games with destructible terrain etc. I’m reading through old threads as i remember a chat we had once on here about the future of games and my wish list was pretty much what we have in games now, was hoping to find it.
any more birthday celebrations………..BF1 on the horizon so time to start reconnecting with old friends!

The City is bloody awful and frankly turning into a go no zone, traffic is dire and the Bridges pretty much fucked. Tower bridge will be shutting soon for a few months so that will just compound the problems further!
If i can stay out West, Kensington, Notting Hill, Chelsea etc then it’s not too bad but you can’t choose where people want to go as you well know. I’ve actually found work levels ok considering the amount of people using U know who. Hopefully once they’ve experienced the whole new level of shite that those guys actually are they will figure spending an extra few quid on a professional driver is worth it.
I still venture to the fliers now and then if it’s moving ok (by that i mean 3 hours lol) or i’m doing a long shift and want a break but i can’t be waiting there for 5+ hours to get a £35 job to Richmond or Acton! I had a Birmingham out of there a month or so back so some decent jobs do still come out.
Give me a buzz on twatter this week if you fancy a cuppa.
