Awesome, picked up one of those the other night but died to zombies before I got the chance to fire it 🙁
There is getting a decent crowd of us playing this now, me and matt are gonna attempt to pick up a UAZ (7 seater land rover) to cut about the servers in so hopefully we will be able to pick you up.
Heh fix up a chopper and you can airlift me out! Its worth noting that vehicles are server specific so anything you fix up will only be availabe on that specific server. Same with tents.

Haha good stuff. I generally steer well clear of the big towns as i always find trouble. Best bet is to head north and look for deer stands which can contain some really nice guns. Barns are also great for finding lower level guns like the winchester and enfield and churches are good for general gear.
Yeah i’m really enjoying this mode, punched the air going YEEESSSS on the few occasions i’ve won
The grenade launcher is really annoying though

I’ve had beta access for about a week now and i have mixed feelings about the game so far. Can’t say much as i don’t want to breach the NDA but there are still loads of issues that need to be ironed out.
The skill system and fitting system is almost identical to eves which is pretty cool but also very confusing, even for an eve vet like me! God know how the average console fpsers will coupe with it.

Its goin to be free to download and play so there is no reason not to get it if you have a PS3 8)

Agreed. Eve is the first and only MMO i’ve ever played (other then WoT which doesnt really count). The TOR beta was the first time i’ve ever tried a regular mmo so maybe eve has just completely skewed my perspective of what an mmo is all about.
It just felt like a single player game with a chat box. Didnt see the point in the whole multiplayer aspect at all but maybe you only get that at this so called “end game” everybody talks about.
Jesus, i play recon a lot and my longest headshot is under 400m!
I got a couple of kills on Kharg shooting a squad of snipers who were spawning on top of the tower near the middle of the map all the way from the US carrier but none were headshots unfortunatly. 🙁
Well i had access to the beta luckily as i had this game pre-ordered and i have to say i was extremely disappointed with it. Character creation was rubbish and the graphics in general were terrible and looke dreally dated. (maybe the release looks better?)
I loved the kotor games but this didnt feel anything like them for some reason. I started playing as a bounty hunter and did the first few missions, was basically just bad voice acting followed by some boring generic kill missions. Go to flashing thing on map, press 1 to attack enemies till they all die, collect reward, repeat for next mission.
I cancelled my order after about 40 mins of that. Maybe i should have given it more of a chance but i just so bored with it. I’ve sat through 40 mins of eve just jumping through gates and had more fun!
