That was a great night of games. I’d almost forgotten what a good laugh playing with you lot was.
Have to agree with Mugs about the ticket ratio, it was a tad high, but still that game of Alamein was fantastic. 😀
That is probably the version Multiplay have, so it might be the best one to distribute. Either way it doesn’t make much difference to an ordinary conquest game.
Pharty is scaring me though 😯
This might not be the same version that Multiplay have. Worth checking before banging it on the server if we do.
Jonny’s version is an earlier build to the one I’ve managed to scavange (no dinghys, no CTF, no menu pic, etc..).

Indeed, then we can move it to sunday starting next week. Altering the time at this last minute isn’t going to do us any favours imo.
Legit, I hate to say this but I agree with Snell for the time being. Whilst I think Ruhr Valley is also a damn good map (well I would, wouldn’t I 😉 ), and it even supports CTF (hint hint) it’d probably be a better idea to see how things go otherwise it’ll kill the server and put people right off. You can blame EA and lazy Dice coders for making it so difficult for people to download custom maps 👿
Mugs, panic over. I’ve managed to get the latest version of Ruhr Valley (including CTF and added dinghys) and uploaded it to fileplanet. They said it should be available after a couple of days, once it’s been ok’ed by the admins. By the way, where did that quote come from? Praise is always nice 😀
yep, you can use any copy you like so long as you have your own cd key. My cd1 is shafted beyond use so had to download the cd image with Azureus. Working a treat now 🙂
Looks like I may have found it on fileplanet bundled in with a whole load of other maps. With any luck I’ll have it in about 15minutes. If this is the right one I’ll upload it somewhere else and try and get a few more permanent copies this time. It feels very shit thinking you’ve lost something that took so much work and effort.
