ParticipantIs there anyone in a Ringers’ shirt disappointed at the attendance to training, and matches of one certain player on the team? 😳

As they say in Dodgeball, ‘It’s the hair, it’s gotta be the hair!’ 🙂
I changed that. Usually when the hair isn’t its majestic mess (that Dan demands I cut) I don’t score. I should just rename him Samson I think.

ParticipantI should be there. It’s not often I go through a night without scoring a goal… (but a turn in fortune always seems to follow after a dramatic physical change with my Pro. I’m beginning to believe that the ghost of Marcio Souza will not rest until he is returned :p)

ParticipantI voted pass back, but tentatively.
I remember one goal we scored, was from playing one twos between Sprog and I that Spacey did delight in a simple finish. But the match was already far gone, so I don’t really know… :pDaveyyWay
ParticipantThe only real set position is Wavy on the basis that his P:G ratio is through the roof, add to that he’s probably our least selfish player to boot!
Agree with Davey being upfront, can guarantee a goal with him there
agree with spacey though….wavey has to go up front
You guys speak so highly of me, it’s wonderful 🙂
Um, I’d agree with Spacey there. I’m a pretty decent one-on-one player, but I can’t play ANY for shit I don’t think (referring to my one and only game there when we got beat pretty bad. In fairness it was only 1-1 at half time, something happened and I just collapsed, blown over like a card castle in a gale force wind) – so I reckon XCS G Lee and Insane can sure up our midfield?
Because if there’s 7 of us it could be:
Ruislip: ANY (then Dan can play with himself with the back four)
Lee: LM (he can ‘set you guys up with my through balls’)
Insane: CM (midfield General it up)
Dale: RM (because he can score from just about anywhere)
Sprog: CF (provide plenty of banter and the odd 30 yard screamer)
Me: ST (need I say anymore? :p)
Space: LS (little man, big impact!)Kits – I don’t mind, I’d fancy playing in the pink of Palermo though, or Fiorentina yeah. Or even the green of Betis.

ParticipantEver since putting on The Ringers’ shirt all those nights ago, I’ve only ever wanted to win, and I hate losing as much as anyone here. I’m definitely on the serious, in-it-to-win-it, will shun sexual partners for valuable concentration time, 1st string team (should this idea evolve into an event).
Sure losing, and more importantly, losing badly is demoralising, but it’s those close games and the ones where we thrash teams that make it all worthwhile 🙂
Also, Sunday will be my 2nd night as an honorary Arsenal fan. The first time, Arsenal did get outmuscled 3-0 by Chelsea, but I’m hoping that the game goes a little differently. Don’t you hope so too Sprog? :p

ParticipantTo pop my cherry on this forum, I will start by extending my condolences to those proud Ringers players who performed tonight, valiantly, but ultimately in vain. I will also apologise for my no show tonight, an unfortunate case of ‘How To Look Good Naked?’ had my mother ensnare the TV leaving me Xboxless and nothing to play with except my left hand.
Sad times.
However, the night is not over, and hopefully there will be more playing either tonight, or in the very near future. I have goals to score, loads of goals to score before I sleep. 🙂
