Sorry I missed that Max…..I always like a good rant at poor admins, well in a contructive way (Promise), but they don’t give a monkeys to any suggestions and seem paranoid about different approaches. When I objected to one of their admins homebasecamping, it was ” if you don’t like it fuck off and get your own server”, Yeah, good job lads.
It always made me smile that the best thing they could put in the server title was ” no disease cursing”, I mean come on…….like that needed to be warned against? instaban.

I’ve often wondered (admittedly not done anything about it) thought why We don’t populate the CwG server more. We can trust the admins not to be muppets and is co run by a guy who is currently 12th in the UK for time played, so we KNOW it’ll be always admined :D.
I liked the SAS server, but the arse seems to have fallen out of it and rarely populated now. And I’m pretty sure everyone knows My view on the ER server. Piss poor admins and I suspect it’s got some kind of 3rd party autobalance on there which defy’s all logic.
Anyhow, Lets get the CwG server going.
I bought this, well Minecraft, for the boy over xmas, coz he was raving about how all his mates are playing it.
So i fired it up and thought ” I’m a gamer, if the kids think it’s cool…….”
5 mins in…..seriously….WTF is the point? isn’t this just something thrown back from the 80’s?
I thought it was well worth the money spent for the snide look of derision from an 8 year old as he realised his old man is simply not cool at all.

Oh and 1st impressions of the china map = shiiiiiite…..kinda reminds me of those shit armour maps they brought out in BF3. I want city maps dammit!!!
Welcome back buddy, I did see You around yesterday on a few server I was playing on.
To be honest, TS should be used a lot more, the VOIP ingame chat is shite.
They had a DDoS attack last night which was fucking the servers up in epic proportions.
Been pretty good today though.
woooo, early days, but i just had a full game on shanghai, no sound loop crashes. Had a sound loop crash 4 times in 5 mins last night.

Edit. New problem….my firewall has decided to block BF4, meaning it won’t log in when i try to join a server.
Despite allowing anything to do with Origin and BF4 within the firewalls settings, it’s still not allowing me to log in. when i disable the firewall everythings peachy. :/
Looking at the BF4 forums, it’s not looking promising. They reporting the shanghai tower and sound loop crashing still present, and doesn’t look like they’ve sorted the missing sound on Lancang & Gomand (the train one).

must be bad if Max is raging against the Dice/EA machine. 🙂
I’ve rolled back from Windows 8.1 to windows 7 and I’m not suffering from a fraction of the crashes I was experiancing on 8.1.
I’m in the same boat as you occa ,sound loop crashes everytime i play shanghai/dawn. I’m convinced it’s my onboard sound drivers thats fucking things up.
I’ve ordered a fairly cheap (£20) 5.1 ASUS sound card and gonna try installing that and disabling the onboard. Should be there when I get home from the arse end of Scotland tonight and I’ll let you know how i get on.
