Well in theory DVI (digital) should provide a better quality picture. All those analogue adjustments (sharpness, clock phase, frequency etc) are actually fixes to correct the degraded analogue signal. With digital you don’t need to compensate for this as there is no digital > analogue conversion involved. Its just plug in and go. With digital most of the adjustments (colour, contrast, etc ) are done through the software driver.
My experience – for budget and low end LCDs it doesn’t make much difference these days – the quality of Dsub (analogue) connections have improved alot recently. And I’ve seen monitors where the DVI signal is actually worse. But for a higher end LCD it would be rude not to go with anything other than a digital connection.
To be honest though I still don’t know why analogue equiped monitors are being produced. Its yesterday’s technology and will eventually be phased out.

Exactly. With a zboard you can reach all the relevant keys without contorting your left hand like an arthritic 90 year old.

A squad system and a treeing of the maps, and it would kick the shite out of Bf2 & 2142, plus no medals 😆Er…. yeah eventually. Dont get me wrong i have fond memories of BFV but the m60 rapage and… gulp… the Huey whoring round spawn flags.. and it was well into the game before Dice provided static AA for the US. EA stuffed up on the air balance in BF2 but they’ve finally got it right in 2142 and consigned air power to a supporting role.

With a resolution of 320 x 240 pretty dire I would imagine.

Great for gaming, crap for ordinary typing. I would never go back to an ordinary keyboard. No issues over quality – used the bf2 keyset for 12 months solid and no probs. Just dont expect to type anything meaningful with it. Even with the ordinary keyset in.

I went into the back of someone once – at a roundabout. My excuse was I’d only had a license a few months, I was in a hire car and doing a contract job which meant i’d only had 2 hrs sleep the night before. His car was a vintage MG midget thing which he obviously buffed up every evening with loving pride. He wasn’t best pleased as I ripped his back chrome bumper off. I still remember the torrent of abuse to this day….
