I updated PB on the server, but not sure how to check it’s running the right version or anything. I can’t make any other checks on it until I find the game cd.

Another one this weekend for anyone out there who hasn’t yet tried it. Lets try and make use of our server during it 🙂
Server survived steam update for once, so it’s running with custom maps off (although still available via admin options), and name changed to “XDC TF2 FUNHOUSE | Map votes & Hlstatsx” for the time being until we can think of something better.

I’m still downloading it so not going to get a chance to look at it until tomorrow, when hopefully our server will be updated as well 🙂
The new heavy update and all that comes with it has now been released. Can we please all try and use our server (once it’s been updated – gonzo sorting hopefully by tomorrow evening) because this is the perfect opportunity to get it filled up. Everytime these updates come out there’s a huge surge in tf2 interest and there will maybe also be a free weekend coming up? If we can get ourselves onto it then it should fill regularly every night, if we can show ourselves as good admins, we’ll gain some regulars.
Oh and one thing I’ll also do is rename the server and take custom maps off the rotation for a week or two while everyone tries out the new maps. Any suggestions for what we call it btw?
Cool, it’s hilarious when the Heavy punches things as it is atm 🙂 I had heard someone had found a heavy voice taunt “I punch harder now”, and I guess this is why 🙂

Yea we’re pretty much all over the place at the moment, but I’m trying to get things organised on the TF2 front if you fancy matches and the like. It’s different from what you’re probably used to though, but it’s the best balanced class game I’ve ever played. If you’re able to get past the unrealism thing and understand it’s just a very well designed game, you’ll find there’s a ton of depth to it, but each to their own 🙂
And good to see you again….although now I’m annoying myself again trying to remember who wrote those damn lensman books again, and what the story was again!
