Hey Max, you may see some action sooner than we thought 🙂
Those goon’s we were taking about the other day have just declared war, which means we can now kill them in empire (“safe” space) as well as them attack us. So keep on the look out for any red targets in overview with a star, or flashing red background. We’ll be making a few road trips down your way to annoy them a bit…and you could maybe get in on that action as well 🙂
I thought that as well before linking up with hippo and his alliance 🙂 That screen shot is of a huge fight, 200 vs 100 (although ss doesn’t capture it all) which definately dosn’t happen a lot, but in a week I’ve been in that fight and several smaller/normal ones (involving 50 ships).
I hated the game the first couple of times I tried it, although saw potential and have come back to it twice looking for exactly what I’ve got now 🙂 Player vs Player combat in this game gives the kind of rush I’ve not had since my rogue spear playing days.
It’s not for everyone though, but fuck me does it beat ogame!

Hey Max, keep an eye for flashing chat windows mate, we were trying to speak to you last night but you mustn’t have seen it……either that or your chat hack isn’t working right yet 😉
Always worth a try max, hippo mentioned you were interested last night and I thought you wouldn’t really be patient enough for it, knowing your bf style of play….although having said that, I play gung ho in bf as well and I quite like eve now.
First couple of times I tried eve I really wasn’t a big fan, mainly because I was stuck with mining pacifist type cunts (not you of course mugs ;)) but somethings always got me giving it another go. This time round I’ve managed to hook up with hippo and get a proper taste of player vs player fighting, and I’m impressed. Not had anything get my heart rate going like this since my rogue spear playing days.
Oh and one other thing, if you had a character when trying it before, you may still be able to reactivate it and avoid starting from scratch.

Was forced to find something else to do a while back when the server was on the mission packs, and now Crazy Hippo’s trapped me in eve online!
Plus my table keeps falling apart when I play BF2 🙁
If you can arsed learning/fiddling with the code there you can make a fantastic sig. I couldn’t be arsed really, but I found a nice picture to make up for it 🙂
