Oh nice, I hope these are the new capture mechanics they referred to in their state of game update a while back.

Crossing my fingers I have the same. They may be trying to encourage more ppl to unlock more weapons before beta ends. Get on now guys to test things out. This game is more casual than bf3 but has “battlefield moments” in abundance, once you know what you’re doing. One example, on monday I defended a point vs a sustained attack from one faction, vs 10 to one odds at one point, and this was on my own! I have done this in bf games as well but it is very rare .

Great game no argument, but best fps to date, na. BF3 has that title for me, closely followed by TF2. At the time bf42 was king though, and it did what we’d been waiting for valve to do in their original TF2 plans, introduce viable vehicle warfare within a good fps.
Definitely need to get a game of this on the go amongst us once a few more have had a chance to dl it. WET’s pc could even handle this.

Well that would go some way towards mitigating my 150 lost points yesterday. Won’t know until later though.

There was actually a patch today afterall which I didn’t notice (probably loaded client and went afk), but it’s 3gb and contains a few notable changes. Not sure how official this thread is but it seems accurate enough from what I’ve seen this evening.

Close of beta announced recently, it’ll close on 16th November. We’ll have to sit through 3 days of BF3 before launch.
