Shame about your pc, but a few of us still have bf1942 installed, for the hussars birthday bash recently, and I’d certainly be up for a game if you ever fancied some company 🙂
BC2 is pretty good, though it’s brutal when you’re not used to it, and I don’t expect anything less from Vietnam which is out the end of next week.

I take it you mean minecraft multiplayer rather than the latest release of minecraft itself? Back when we started playing it, AnobizII “acquired” a server for it, but was pretty crap. The game can be played ok, but it’s essentially the creative mode as you can’t take any damage, and that’s the problem with it atm. It’s not the intention for it to be this way, it’s just that the developer is focusing on single player only, but the word is that once multiplay has been “fixed”, that will officially mark the release of a beta for the game (as opposed to the current alpha).
When they do get it fixed, there really better be an adversial mode or something to encourage an all out war between teams 🙂 Imagine battling in some sort of capture the flag type contest, with both sides able to create their base in their own style. Imagine the traps you could lay in defence, and the solutions you’d have to use to get past whatever they put in your way, all the while battling monsters and other players 🙂

Agreed, Minecraft could be seriously awesome if and when they get multiplayer working properly 🙂 I can’t wait, but they need to make it properly adversarial with a huge focus on pvp.
Anyone know if the 9.99 offer is for preorders only, or will it retail at that price once fully released as well? The 18th is a couple of days before pay day for me, and more likely to get it afterwards.
Cool I should already have invites sent to both of you but someone told me the invites are not always received unless the person is online. If you’ve not got one from me, give me a shout over steam or TS when you’re on.
Seeing as I’m now getting into this I’ve gone and added everyone I could find from this list and Jesus christ there are a lot of us (28 by my count)! There must be quite a few here who’ve stopped playing by now, but likewise there’s enough on the list for a good number to still be playing, especially with Vietnam 2 weeks away. Hopefully all of you will have a friends invite from me, simply “Alzir” in game. I’m crap, but picking it up slowly 🙂 I’ll also try and remember to be on TS when playing.

Alright folks, I’ve got this up and running now properly, and really enjoying it. Still learning the maps, and still getting my ass handed to me in most firefights, but I’ll get there 🙂 If anyone’s up for a game, I’ll be about this afternoon on Steam and TS. I’ll be willing to give it a try during the evenings, but my ISP has gone seriously downhill the last couple of months and I’m getting some desperate lag issues after 5pm. It’ll probably not make much difference to my play mind you 🙂
