I wouldnt worry too much at this stage – but sounds like he is getting the right investigations. It is unusual to have frank blood in the urine from a simple urine infection at his age – so definately needs looking at.
OMFG – he spends 150quid on a tie… but 50 pence for a pair of trousers from oxfam! What are they made of? looks almost like felt ROFL.

After 4 weeks you wanna wean yourself to the next lower patch, then 2 weeks later you go to the mildest strength for 2 weeks – if you foillow that programme you will have no nicotine withdrawal effects at all – just leaves (the still considerable) psychological effects.

I should point out one bit of disinformation on this board. The patches increase your chances of quitting by about 2.5 – but only if you use them properly. Theres a very high failure rate when people start the patches… think to themselves ‘hah! This is easy – nicotine aint that addictive after all!’ And then quit the patches…. leading to acute nicotine withdrawal 🙂 This doesent make sense.
You either do it cold turkey…. or you use the patches as indicated FOR EIGHT weeks. Anything else is just placebo.

Dont believe the medical doctor pay though – this bullshit on the news just now makes my blood boil – Ive been a fully qualified GP for 4 years and I earn WAY less than the figures touted around just now – like 50% less!

Im generally pissed off at the NHS myself just now – Im working 3-4 times as hard as i was in New Zealand… get less respect from the patients and dont get nearly enough time to play COH as I am frazzled up to my eyeballs in paperwork.
Pays better I guess 🙄
