Just got back from a nice six hour visit to the hospital. Nothing serious. Managed to pop my thumb out of joint while at work today. Thing is it took them about 4 hours to find this out, by which time my left hand had swollen to the size of your average zepplin and was causing my rather alot of pain. The nitros oxide stuff they gave me was pretty good shite up to the point where some german nurse popped my thumb back into place. Words like… “golly” and “oh my” came to mind as she done this!!
Six farcking hours sat in the bloody hospital staring at the bloody walls just for a bloody popped thumb!!!
And on top of that Ive now got to take the next couple of days off!!!!
NOT BLOODY HAPPY I CAN TELL YOU!!!!! 👿 👿 👿
Lucky me, broke me finger last week and was in AE for only an hour and a half! 😀 Got another appointment this wednesday though, hopefully wont need pins.
Max you’ve got to stop sticking your finger up the arse of that EA server tech who lets you use your hax………. 😀

Safety barriers of all bloody things!!Had to up the hospital again today, got a suspected fracture but they cant plaster it up cause my thumb is still swollen. So they just taped it up so I cant move my thumb atall now.
Still not bloody happy either 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿Due to being in a shitload of accidents (more broken bones than I dare count, almost had my leg amputated by a japanese akita etc) a few years back I went to A&E with my m8 with a break (more like a big but shallow fracture) in my arm. I was there for a fair while and when I got to see the doctor he didn’t believe me my arm had a break. He made me move it into all kinds of positions and I didn’t flinch or groan, but thatpain was a pain I had felt a thousand times before, heck I’ve even still gone into work with broken fingers and toeas and I don’t give a shit whether they decide to hurt or not, eventually you get used to it then they numb up. But anyways, the doctor finally agreed to get me xrayed after i bitched and moaned about it and sure enough, there was a break in my arm. He soon shut the fuck up and issued me with a prescription for painkillers… which I didn’t even bother taking…
That, my recent psychiatric evaluation saying I’m sane and my doctor’s reluctance to send me for an MRI when my current symptoms can only be explained by 1 of many forms of mild brain damage has given me no faith whatsoever in the medical system!
Anyhow back on topic (ish) 😛 A disclocated thumb is nothing, but it is funny that it was damaged by safety gear!! I dislocated my leg whilst playing football in 1998 .. it dislocated, took a chunk of my pevlis with it, then I hit the ground and it relocated and mashed it all up… wasn’t too pleasant but had some nice hospital time with some pretty nurses (females before you ask ffs!!) and Tekken 3, so wasn’t all bad 😉
Ok you ungrateful fucks… next time you break something/have a heart attack/ need you only child to have a life saving transfusion etc etc etc….
FUCK OFF AND DO IT YOUSELVES!

Hey Doc, not having a go at the staff at the hospital just the system. When I did get seen they, the staff, were great. Its just if we are suposed to have one of the best medical systems in the world then why do people have to wait over six hours for something that takes less than half an hour to sort out?
Its not the staff is it, they just try to do thier job as best they can, and do a fine job at that. Its the bloody cut backs made by our great goverment that screw it up for them.

Im generally pissed off at the NHS myself just now – Im working 3-4 times as hard as i was in New Zealand… get less respect from the patients and dont get nearly enough time to play COH as I am frazzled up to my eyeballs in paperwork.
Pays better I guess 🙄
