Regarding the master server shit…I think it depends on which server your playing on. I kept on getting kicked yesterday afternoon and last night and all day today it’s been fine.
Regarding the game, im enjoying it. Something different, a change from the same old stuff. And once I turned off the camera shake, I didnt have any more headaches, LOL. Regarding accuracy of the weapons, it could use a little work, but im getting cqc kills without any probs. Even a few knife kills. 😀
basically the message i’m getting is “this game is a cheapm unfinished mod for bf 2, don’t buy it unless you are a bf2 freak like Max. Also it sucks. might be ok whent they patch it, but knowing diCE and EA and their track record with BF2, it will get worse and worse.”
Great product endorsement by some of the most hardcore BF series fans I know.
Won’t be wasting my money on thid sd it cost me half as much for TWO versions of RO which is better.

What was the Gulf of Oman demo like for BF2, was it same as version we know?

“only £20” you say. Well Ihave been at uni for 8 years and acccrued a arge amount of debt and I don’t have a job at the moment so £20 is quite a bit for something I already know will be unfinished as it’s based on an engine which is still not working properly for the original game.
ok, Igot two copies of RO for £15, £7.50 each. Not a bug free game, but the bugs are few and far between and the community is alot more mature than the BF community.
What more can I say except anyone who buys 2142 cannot then turn around and complain that it needs to be patched and is unfinished because you already know the game won’t be finished from experience of the bf series and as long as you keep buying them at this standard, they will keep producing them at this standard.
that’s all I have to say on the matter.
I like the demo personally and I’ll be buying the game when it comes out.
Could anyone tell me some bugs that are in the game as I haven’t actually found any yet 😕

I doubt that this is a bug, but once I step inside a titan, my screen goes black and it’s REALLY hard for me to find the consoles, or even defend them.
But once I messed with the video settings a bit, the problem cleared up. 🙂

must be said the relatively short period of time i played RO i did not find that the case at all. Kids play video games – doesn’t matter which ones. I witnessed tk’s (not including the accidental ones) alot of comment that began ‘you noob’ etc and the oh so entertaining massacre when everyone spawns at the beginning (CS style).
As for bf2142 have still not made plans to buy it until i’ve played the demo more and possible not until i hear some comments from those that play the full game.
Wolf is right when talking of the games been continually released before they are finished. It really isn’t good enough. But bf2 is still far ahead of any of its rivals in term of team play.

fluff, you played RO during the free week….so you had loads of cs kiddies running around being twats…because RO is hard not many kids stick it, when they do they are pretty decent players..
for the 6 months or so i played bf2 cant remember much teamplay….flag hopping…point whoring …no defending…but not teamplay as such..
