Last night I took out an F22 with an Eryx on Wake Island 2007.
Is that an achievement I can boast about, and if so can somebody please advise an appropriate medal I should have earned?
*Awards Neon ‘Infantry Medal of taking out Annoying Bastage Ghey Fly Boys’
I’d give a medal to anyone taking out a plane, whilst not in another plane. 😀

You’d be proud of me Ronathon. On the next round I jumped into the Chinese transport chopper, and three other fools climbed in behind me (against my wishes). I then took off, flipped 90 degrees and flew sideways, which wasn’t something I’d intended to do, so I leapt out just before the chopper landed on a building and exploded. Unfortunately my comrades didn’t 😕
Luckily that didn’t count as a TK, but I deliberately went off and hid for fear of reprisals. The sky certainly isn’t a safe place to be in when I’m around, for either team.
Hmmm may have to retract that medal on the basis that live servers are not the place to learn to fly anything that carries team mates 😛
On a side note it’s worse when they get in your chopper because they trust your flying skills. Only for you to hit a tree with a fully loaded BlackHawk cos you’re ‘showing off your leet skills’ 😡

Heh. No, I can fly transports okay, just not since I’ve changed my mouse from AT to USB 😕 ❓ ❓ It’s suddenly too sensitive, like I’m always flying that bloody Euro gunship!
Having said that I’ve been hit whilst onboard a fully laiden Blackhawk with a laser guided missile and the guy gets 7 kills in one go. The bastard.
If it wasn’t hovering or on a heli pad then you get a nice shiney medal too 🙂
Incidently I’ve noticed more and more servers sticking up rules about vehicle drops, any comments for your server?
How about getting a kill with a smoke gernade? Does that receive any sort of medal? 😀 It will even say it during game….was pretty cool!

What rules are they putting up?
Things like not dropping them on nme vehicles.
I had a mess about with them on an empty server last night.
It seems if you place the drop just right you can take out an APC or the T-90 with one drop. The M1A-1 (or whatever it’s called) take about 2-3 drops, think it’s the way it’s armour slopes.
