I’ve never played EQ, but from what I’ve read WoW is much more casual friendly that EQ was/is.
The leveling from 1-60 is very enjoyable in WoW and can be done at any pace, with lots of quests taking you all over the gaming world.
Admitedly the current end game for casual players is a bit lacking, being mostly geared towards 20-40 instance raids. This, however, is set to be addressed in the Burning Crusade expansion due out before the end of the year.
Hehe sounds like a bit of a fan boi take, but I found WoW to be much less of a second job after playing EvE Online for a year and half.
If anyone decides to take a look at WoW, please feel free to look me up Tarren Mill. We have a nice guild there that mainly consists of friends (mixture of Sweds and Brits), this is a PvP server though.
Characters Sawn or Chani – or look for members of LXX guild.
