    For some reason, now when I play a song, or get that little beep from MSN, it make like a echo sound. As if my speakers were trying to imitate a cave echo or something. No idea why, but I remember there being such presets somewhere, but can’t remember where. It’s effecting all my sounds, BF2142, Winamp, the lot…

    My speakers are the Logitech Z5500 5.1 and I’ve played about with their onboard settings but can’t figure it out!

    Any ideas?

    have you been playing on the RO server?

    Maybe thats the problem!

    If you have a creative soundcard then maybe it’s got the EAX setting to cave or something similar ?

    I do have an EAX card, but cant find where to play about with that setting, and I know I haven’t… maybe BF2142 has fucked my soundcard!!!

    Well, not sure what card you have, but on my Creative audigy music, I open up the creative volume control:

    Then I go to the EAX button and in there you can turn eax off:
