Just asking on the off chance someone has one lying around after a night of drunken shennanigans with a student nurse or something… I want one as cheap as possible (or free if possible). Anyone help me out?
ps: has to be a proper working one, not a looky-likey.
pps: I’m not going to be impersonating a doctor or owt. My Girlfreind reckons she’ll be able to hear the baby’s heartbeat if she had a stethoscope, so I want to suprise her with one for christmas.
You can buy them in shops that sell work uniforms. I bought one for £16 a while ago and they had a lesser model for £8. Proper stuff.
Haven’t got a clue wtf I was doing in that shop lol!
aye, I know I can order them from loads of places, what I was hoping is that someone might have an old one lying around I could have for little or nothing since I’m absolutely brassed. Cheers though 🙂
its next to impossible to hear the babies heartbeat m8 – not TOTALLY impossible – but I wouldnt bother.
There are special fetal heartbeat stethoscopes that midwives used to use (look like a trumpet) but TBH its hard sometimes to hear the wee blighters even with a proper doppler ultrasound stethescope (what we use nowadays,)
If you want to really surprise her you should buy her a full on Ultrasound scanner like Tom cruise did for Katie 🙂
Having said that id send u one if I had a spare – but Ive only got my top quality littman – not for sale 🙂
I kind of guessed she wouldn’t be able to hear it, but what’s important is wether she thinks she can hear it 😉
