    I connect to the router downstairs via my Netgear wireless card, however to put it black and white, i generally find this card, and its drivers to be shit – can anyone suggest a decent wireless card, thats been reliable? 😮

    My company uses either Dlink or Linksys, we have problems with DLink, never had a problem yet with a Linksys card.

    Cheers pal il deff look into it , wher i work alot of the guys use netgear, they swear by it, but i think its shite. Linksys is a good contender 🙂

    I have a belkin card myself. worked very well with my BT Voyager Router/Modem.

    We use belkins… and are having probs at the mo 🙁

    I think if you are picking up a router downstairs, the wires running through the floor provide interference… so that may be the prob.

    We use Belkin, and im having alot of probs with them atm 🙁

    i blame the interefence to a) yup the wires, and b) all the other electronical gizmos and shit i have in my room, so i need one with good range, im guessing linksys or belkin do one with a extended range, shld boulster it some what

    Get an external one to – so you can wave it around and find the best location… its shit when you have to wave your whole pc around do get a good signal… and apparenetly you are a weedy fucker – so that would probably be impossible!

    i ended up going with the Linksys Wireless-g Pci Adapter – 802.11g W/ Rangebooster, has two aerials, hopefully will combat all the interference im getting!! 😀
