Sadly the greatest ever cockney since Dick Van Dyke, Mike Reid, passed away today. Obviously taxi drivers and used car sales men are in mourning, and rightly so. I’d just like to take this opportunity to remember Mr Reid, with a few things that Frank Butcher might have said:
“You’re gettin’ right app moi bugle!”
&
“What are ya? Some sorta pilchard!”
&
“Ricky my san. That Bianca’s a right silly caaaa!”
Tis indeed a sad day, Bernard Manning Mike Reid the way this going we will not have any proper comics left…well the say these things come in three’s, if I was Stan Boardman right now I wouldn’t be moving too far from the hospital..:-)
